An Axolotl Plushie Made for Real Life

This isn’t just a decorative piece, it’s a soft, squishable friend designed for daily life. The rounded body and plush filling make it ideal for leaning against during movie nights or studying, while those sweet stitched eyes seem to follow you around the room (in the most endearing way). Choose it in classic blue for a calming presence, playful pink for a pop of fun, or earthy green to blend with your plants and books. The premium PP cotton filling holds its shape beautifully, whether you’re using it as a proper pillow or just a cheerful accent beside your favourite reading nook. And thanks to the sturdy construction, it stays just as huggable through years of snuggles, naps, and the occasional dramatic flop onto the bed after a long day.

Why This Axolotl Pillow Plushie Stands Out

With its unmistakable grin and feathery gills, this isn’t your average stuffed animal. It’s the kind of plushie that gets noticed, perched on a dorm-room shelf, tucked into a birthday gift bag, or snagged by a friend who insists “I need one too!” The vibrant colours stay fresh wash after wash, and the generous size options mean you can pick your ideal cuddle buddy, whether you prefer a lap-sized 30cm companion or a 90cm statement piece that doubles as a proper pillow. A gift? Absolutely, the recipient’s delighted smile will mirror the axolotl’s own. But let’s be honest: once you feel that cloud-soft fabric and see how perfectly it fits into your space, you might just “forget” to give it away.

Please note that measurements may vary slightly (1-3cm) due to the nature of PP cotton’s expansion and compression. Choose your preferred size and variant carefully before making your purchase.

Washing Your Plushie

All our plushies are washing machine friendly and easy to take care of. Here is our handy guide on how to wash your plushie.

  1. Use the most gentle cycle available on your washing machine
  2. Wash your plushie in cold water using a very mild detergent
  3. If you wish to disinfect your plushie use warm water or look at a laundry sanitizer which is safe on both whites and colours, unlike chlorine bleach.
  4. If your plushie is small enough to fit in a duvet cover or laundry mesh bag this will also work great. We also recommend padding the drum of your washing machine with towels to add another layer of protection.
  5. The most effective way to dry your plushie will be air-drying. To help fluff up the fur once the plushie as reached the just-damp stage try using a hairdryer tuned on low heat.

Removing wrinkles/lumps on your Plushie

We stock all shapes and sizes of plushies and some are very large. To allow us to ship our products a low price to the UK we sometimes vacuum pack them. Therefore, they may have lumps and wrinkles when you first take them out of their packaging. But don’t worry – naturally these wrinkles will ease out the longer your plushie is out of the bag. On average they return to normal within 2-3 days. You can always give it a good shake and pat down to let the lumps ease out too.
